Girls Junior Varsity Softball vs. Pioneer High School
Girls Junior Varsity SoftballPirates JV Softball took game 2 against Pioneer for their first win of the season 15-9. Wallman, Ringe, Duke and Ramsey all had multiple hits for the Pirates with Wallman collecting 3. Jorie Shlickenmayer went 5 innings allowing 1 earned run and striking out 5. The Pirates are in action at home tomorrow vs Stockbridge.

Girls Varsity SoftballThe Pirates battled hard to take down Pioneer 8-5 yesterday. Senior Mackenzie Burns went 4-4 on the day with 5 RBI's to lead the attack. Sophomore Addison Wroblewski went 3-5 with 2 doubles to keep her hot bat going. Sophomore Sydney Arnold went 3 and ⅔ innings allowing 1 earned run on 3 hits and 1 K. Freshman Jade Chelenyak came in on relief of Arnold and went 3 ⅓ innings allowing no hits and striking out 5. The team voted Jade player of the game. The Pirates are in action Friday for a DH at Stockbridge.

Girls Varsity SoftballVarsity softball fought back from a 7 run hole to take game 1, 10-7 from Tecumseh. Junior Natally Pease went the distance on the mound. She allowed 6 earned runs and struck out 12. Sophomore Addison Wroblewski went 3-4 with 3 RBI's and Junior MacKenzie Burns was 2-4 with 3 RBI's as well. Game 2 was called early with the Pirates leading 12-6. Wroblewski and Burns had multiple hits in game 2 as well.

Girls Varsity SoftballPirates Varsity Softball took down Ann Arbor Huron 15-0 in 3 innings. Junior Natally Pease got the win for her team allowing 1 hit and striking out 3. Senior MacKenzie Burns was 2-3 with her first home run of the year. Senior Ayla Wright also went 2-3 for the game. Freshman Harper Henderson recorded her first High School hit going 1-1. The Pirates are in league action Monday against Tecumseh at home, first game starts at 4pm.

Girls Varsity SoftballVarsity softball battled hard against power house Laingsburg on Monday. The Pirates dropped game one 6-1. Junior Natally Pease took the mound and gave up 6 hits 2 earned runs and struck out 8. Senior MacKenzie Burns collected 2 hits for the Pirates in the loss. Game 2 saw the bats come alive and the Pirates take the win 18-8. Junior Natally Pease went 3-3 with 2 home runs driving in 5 rbi's. Senior Ayla Wright also parked one over the fence for her first home run of the year. Senior Mackenzie Burns collected 3 hits and Emma Fesl and Addison Wroblewski each added 2 hits. Freshman Jade Chelenyak went the distance on the mound allowing 7 hits, only 4 earned runs and striking out 7.The Pirates are 3-2 on the year and will follow up Mondays action with a single game against Ann Arbor Huron Thursday 4:30 at home.

Girls Varsity SoftballGame 2 saw freshman Jade Chelenyak take the mound and pitch to her sister Senior catcher Makenzie Chelenyak. Jade went the distance allowing 1 hit over 3 innings and striking out 5. Sophomore Sydney Arnold drove in 4 runs with her first home run, a grand slam in the bottom of the 1st inning. Arnold, Ayla wright and Addison Wroblewski each had 2 hits for the Pirates. The Pirates are in action again at home Monday against Laingsburg.
